Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Salon Coordinator. This multifaceted role will be the face of our salon, responsible for providing top-notch customer service while efficiently managing the day-to-day operations.

The Salon Coordinator will handle a variety of tasks including answering phones, greeting guests, scheduling appointments, and retail sales. Additionally, this role will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the salon to ensure a pristine environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments with accuracy and professionalism.
• Greeting guests upon arrival and providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
• Checking guests in and out, processing payments, and managing the appointment book.
• Educating guests on retail products and assisting with sales to meet salon targets.
• Prebooking appointments to maximize guest retention and satisfaction.
• Performing general salon maintenance tasks such as sweeping, tidying stations, and laundry.
• Ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the salon to uphold our high standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required, preferably within the beauty industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to promote and sell salon products.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to create memorable experiences for guests.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate salon hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.

Requirements:

• A minimum of temporary New York State Cosmetology License is mandatory
